There’s nothing more thrilling than seeing the work we do come full circle.

After 25 years of electrifying orchestras, choirs, and bands across the globe, many teachers who participated in Electrify Your Symphony when they were students are now hosting their own EYS events so they can bring that same electricity to THEIR students!

EYS helps young musicians and singers to evolve and grow, embrace their unique and beautiful selves, take those difficult steps outside their comfort zones and ultimately FLY on the wings of music and creativity…

Welcome to

the True Colors Tour!

TO ELECTRIFY YOUR SYMPHONY

Welcome

Navigating the world and finding one's place in it can sometimes be difficult for young people who may not have developed coping skills to understand how to deal with the complex emotions arising from life's challenges.

Our mission has ALWAYS been one of empowerment and we are more committed than ever to continue sharing our critically important message about the power of musical self-expression and creative emotional outlets.

EYS helps kids find ways to give themselves permission to express everything they’re feeling through their MUSIC… in healthy and joyous ways!

Working directly with Mark Wood, Laura Kaye, and their incredible team of world-class Artist Mentors, your students will be introduced to an entirely new creative universe laying right there in front of them. They’ll learn about improvisation and performance techniques from masters of both. In fact, all the artists on the EYS team  have years of experience in the music industry and a vast wealth of knowledge they want to share.

Art is healing.

Music is healing.

When we give kids the tools to go forth into the world and create beauty from their internal struggles, it not only nourishes THEIR souls but ours as well…

the story of EYS tour logos

EYS-tour-logos-2010-2025-for-website.gif

Although EYS began 25 years ago, back in 2010, we thought it would be a great idea to start naming each "tour" and create eye-catching logos specific to each school year.

We put these logos on posters to advertise EYS concerts and custom tees that you can order for your program; customizable to include school info on the back so participating schools and students could have a great memento from the visits.

Be sure to visit the Calendar page to see if we're coming to a town or city near you.

 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING ME THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME...

You have influenced me tremendously to become a better musician and to appreciate not only the music from the past, but the music we have control over for the future.  You have changed my life and inspired me to follow my  dreams, no matter what it takes."

“Laura – I would like to thank you so much for visiting our school. You have a been an inspiration to me, and helped me to decide what i want to do for the rest of my life! i used to be afraid to sing in front of big crowds, but since you visited our school i have been so open to sing to anybody.

Thank you so much!!! You are my inspiration!!!”

Arielle, Student

“Mark, what a wonderful thing you do!  I was totally amazed at the energy and intensity you exude. Your infectious enthusiasm is reflected in the children you so lovingly teach. Thank you for spending time with our kids. Needless to say my daughter Stephanie has a renewed infatuation with the classic rock songs and her violin. It was getting to the point where we were saying “at least she tried” but that is a thing of the past!  I didn’t realize where her newfound interest was coming from over the last couple of days until last night.  I wouldn’t have missed it for anything.  I just wanted to say thank you for making a difference.”

Pat Sanders, Parent
Cincinnati, OH

“You ceaselessly inspire me and everyone around me. [My school] truly struck gold in discovering your program. You have contributed so much to the musician who is a critical part me… Simple thanks cannot properly measure my gratitude at this point.”

GS, Student
